In my experience it came to my attention that most agencies I work with, do not screen their caregivers regarding their mental status and physical health. It is of the upmost importance, that YOU as the client do not end up having a caregiver taking care of your loved ones, that is mentally ill, not stable, or cannot perform the task at hand. Make sure that they have health insurance, get annual physicals and are mentally aware of the work requirements. Go visit our website to get more information on caregiver health and performance requirments: http:// www.dependableseniorhomecarellc.vpweb.com

Bean BUZZ!!!!!! 13 grams of fiber, 15 grams of protein, a dose of folate, iron, magnesium, potassium and zinc...you can eat chickpeas soaked overnight, or out of a can into the mouth.....amazing, how super packed this little bean is...try them in a salad tossed with spinach and a vinaigrette, any other veggie you want to add you can...I like to also sautee them with bell peppers thinly sliced and onions added.....easy to make and deliciously scrumptious.....and you know the BEST part is ...they are filling and super GOOD for you! |

This is a topic really close to my heart, the amount of sugar we feed our children and then we are surprised , they are hyper active and jumping off the wal all day long from and onto the SUGAR express!!!! Did you know by consuming one can of regular soda, you will consume about 9 teaspoons of SUGAR. And did you further know that the average american adolescent will consume about 1000 cans per year!!!! I know my words are harsh and sugar tastes soooo good, in your opinion. |

Black currants berries are helping in protection against memory loss; due to some research from the U.S. and New Zealand showing that anthocynanins and polyphenolics in black currants, protect against especially Alzheimer's and dementia. Since black currants contain quercetin, the berries can can help in lowering the risk of certain cancers, while the oil from the fruit's seed can reduce the "bad" LDL. So, eat your black currants berries, you can find them in health food stores, dried or fresh.....!!!! It's a good thing!!! Eat UP!!!
